Are you or a loved one suffering from Respiratory Distress?

If you’ve been diagnosed with COPD your doctor might suggest Pulmonary Rehab.  Here at Sacred Heart Home, we offer a variety of pulmonary services to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions.

The respiratory team here at Sacred Heart Home has a pulmonologist on staff and available to see residents in house.

Our staff uses an expanded range of Respiratory services, including nebulizer therapy, tracheostomy care, chest physiotherapy and comprehensive education.  We will work with the patient until they have achieved maximum functional status and/or have reached the program goals.  Any patient reaching the milestone may be readmitted into the program if the need arises due to a change in their condition.

Our Pulmonary Program is designed to maximize each person’s pulmonary function, provide education and tools to manage their disease, improve their quality of life and reduce hospital re-admissions.

Here at Sacred Heart Home we follow each stage of the Pulmonary Diagnosis.  Upon admission, we supply the resident with the proper equipment, whether they need a bi-pap machine, oxygen tank or nebulizer treatments.  We educate each resident on how to use their equipment properly during their stay with us.  Upon discharge, we order the necessary pulmonary equipment for home.  Our in-house Respiratory therapist calls each individual resident after discharge to see if they are wearing their equipment properly and if they have any questions in which our Respiratory therapist can assist.

If you or a loved one is suffering from respiratory distress do not hesitate to contact us here at Sacred Heart Home to learn more about our Pulmonary Program, and how we can help you or a loved one!
