We chose Sacred Heart for our Dad based both on recommendations and our own research, and in retrospect, could not possibly have done better for Dad. From his first day he was treated with respect, sensitivity and empathy by what was clearly a quality and well trained and directed staff. Any problem or concern we raised was handled promptly and effectively. -
There are some people in the world who go to work, do their jobs and go home. Others take those jobs to whole new level entirely. We, as a family, could not be more thankful that our mother was in your loving hands at Catholic Memorial Home. We thank you for the care that was so beautifully provided. When you carefully wiped our mother’s face or spoke words of comfort, you may not have realized it, but your actions not only touched her, but in turn all of us. I would like to thank the staff at Marian Manor for the care they showed my father. Even though he was there for a short while, everyone was very kind and caring from the moment he arrived. Even though he had only been admitted an hour earlier, the receptionist at the front desk already knew without looking what room he was in when I came to visit. I am very grateful that I was called by the nurse to come in and be with my father at the end of his life.
Can’t begin to thank you, the staff and the residents of Madonna Manor for the beautiful Mass said for my mother. The incredible care the Manor provided to her in her final two weeks will forever be etched into my heart. You took her in as one of the family, and my brothers and I will be eternally grateful for the support you provided us, as well.
I would like to thank the staff of Our Lady’s Haven on behalf of my sister. The nine days that she was in your care you showed such kindness and caring that made the last days of her life comfortable and pain free. Everyone was exceptional and please express my thanks to everyone for their kindness.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you at Catholic Memorial Home. The dedication and care my Dad received exceeded all of our expectations of the care he would receive. Your consideration, compassion and your love and understanding will never be forgotten.
I am writing this letter to commend Marian Manor for their professionalism and commitment to truly caring about their residents. In addition, I am also grateful for the relationship staff built with our family. We were always welcomed warmly and made to feel we belonged as well. I found that I had to express these thoughts because so often this very difficult work goes unrecognized.
When someone works so hard to get your family member healthy, thank you seems like such a small thing to say. My thank you is as heartfelt as possible. It would be nice if every facility could emulate the heart, compassion and skill of Madonna Manor. We are fortunate to have the Manor in our diocese.
Although we were not there at the end of Dad’s life, we knew he was getting the best care ever provided by Our Lady’s Haven nursing home. While he was there only a short while, you all felt like family and it’s family you rely on at times like these. We cannot thank you enough, and I know Dad loved and respected all of you.
To all the caring staff at Catholic Memorial Home – we gratefully acknowledge the Memorial Mass offered for Mom’s soul. She was only a resident for eight days, but in that time, and at her death, she was treated with loving compassion and respect. We are very grateful to you all for your goodness.
My family and I want to tell everyone at Madonna Manor how much we appreciate your support and kindness during this very difficult time with the passing of my father. It touched our hearts to see everyone who took care of him attend his wake. Everyone provided excellent care and treated my Dad with compassion and dignity until his passing. We want to thank the true angels at Madonna Manor and want them to know they are appreciated and we will never forget them.

"Love Made Visible." There could be no truer words to describe Catholic Memorial Home, especially the Alzheimer's Unit. My mom received the very best care by the nurses and CNAs during her stay. I witnessed first hand the attention and love that was readily given to her. But what touched me most was how my mother was cared for in the last days of her life. The entire staff showed unending compassion and patience to both my mother and myself. That they were with her at the end of her long journey on Earth, helping her take the next step into God's home, means the world to me. Catholic Memorial Home has given a beautiful gift to my mother and me and I will forever be thankful and sincerely grateful to you and all who cared so lovingly for my beloved mother.
